OUR STORY
Zen is a homophone for Julia’s mom, Zhen.
Zhen has a masters degree and big dreams for what she wants to do in life; however, she was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes at a young age. Since then, she focused on taking care of her mental and physical health. She and her PCP, Dr. Stephanie, MD., have managed her condition.
Her motto is: it doesn’t matter how smart, ambitious, or skilled you are, you can’t do anything unless you have good health.
Zen marries two components that helped Zhen succeed: access to an incredible PCP, and helping patients achieve good health so they can realize their dreams.

Julia
Co-Founder
Julia has over a decade of health actuarial experience and has consulted for the whole spectrum of healthcare entities including providers and payers both domestically and abroad. She is a fearless leader of nerds, and has a passion for developing better models to improve patient health outcomes.
She is a dual degree, triple major graduate from the University of Michigan and Stephen M. Ross School of Business.
George
Co-Founder
George has over decade of experience supporting healthcare technology initiatives related to data exchange, patient engagement, operational analytics, robotic process automation, autonomous coding, infrastructure design, and data governance. He is a policy nerd and optimist with a passion for practical applications of technology to advance care quality and coordination. He currently leads practice analytics initiatives optimizing operational performance for more than 17,000 physicians across the country.
